Marilynne Anne is a singer songwriter who has a flare for adding a twist to country music. Marilynne Anne was born and raised in Edgerton, Alberta and has been singing and playing guitar since she was 12 years old. Much of her influence comes from her Mom, Evelyn Christensen who was well known for her music contributions in the community of Edgerton, Alberta, Canada. Marilynne Anne has continued to pursue her music career throughout her life. She has performed in many venues as a solo artist and with bands throughout the Prairie Provinces and has had the opportunity to perform in front of audiences up to 30,000 people. Marilynne Anne will be releasing her new original songs summer of 2021, that reflects country music with a flare. She is a proud member of BCCMA, CCMA and SOCAN. Singer songwriter member of NSAI. It has been said, that her voice has a “soft velvet, easy listening sound” and “You sound like the female Johnny Cash.”
